As we return back to work and gear up for a new year, we thought it would be interesting to look at the video trends that are likely to dominate in 2015.  In 2014 video marketing become a key tool for charities to engage audiences and drive support. As mobile usage increased and social networks like Facebook competed with YouTube to become a top video destination (helped by the charity selfie phenomenon), video usage increased dramatically.

Recently, I headed up to the Festival Hall on London's Southbank, to have a wander round the current World Press photo exhibition. Across the foyer, there are over 140 stunning photographs, covering all manner of stories - from harrowing reports from war-torn countries and natural disasters to incredible 'capture-the-moment' sports photography.

Producing Effective Charity Fundraising Videos

According to a new study, video is the tool of choice for charities, with 97% using some type of video to communicate with their supporters and inspire their audience. The research concluded that top charities are using video to effectively reach out to stakeholders, campaign, build relationships and tell their story.

Speaking at the Institute of Fundraising National Convention

This week (July 2014) has seen the National Convention for the Institute of Fundraising taking place - we were delighted to be invited to speak at this event, running a session looking at the use of film in legacy fundraising.

Three out of one - and one more to come!

In the last month, we’ve just completed on the third production for All We Can, producing a film to support their 2014 Harvest Appeal using footage and interviews that we gained in Burundi earlier this year.  We’re particularly pleased that, despite a very short-time frame, we were able to work alongside the team at All We Can to maximise the number of outputs we were able to gain from the trips to Africa and Nepal.
