Diversity film for global research firm, Kantar

Earlier this year saw the promotion of our latest diversity and inclusion film - this time for global market research leader, Kantar. We decided to take a slightly sideways look at the brief. Our first thought was to focus much more on the word "inclusion", rather than diversity - so many other films talk about diversity - which is great - but for Kantar, their policy is all about "inclusion and diversity"; inclusion being the first word.

Our video training courses train charity staff to create short videos on their iPhones and one of the key parts of the training is helping people to gain a good video interview.  Speaking to a beneficiary, volunteer, fundraiser or staff member is an effective way to show the difference your charity makes.  Once you’ve identified someone willing to tell their story, the next challenge is ensuring that the interview brings out the best of their story. Purple Flame goes volunteering

Purple Flame has been working within the charity sector for over 14 years and over this period we've been involved in supporting our clients in a range of ways - from volunteering on a building site with Habitat for Humanity and jumping out of planes on a sponsored skydive for Asphaleia through to some pro bono work for a local small refugee charity. Recently, I've been challenged by the idea of volunteering on a more regular basis and have been looking at what's available locally.

Using Video in CSR Reports

Many large corporations are publishing their 2013 CSR reports this month; it’s a great opportunity to communicate CSR objectives and progress and particularly identify key achievements over the year.  Traditionally companies have presented information about their CSR initiatives in documents such as annual reports and press releases or on a section of its official corporate website.
