Over the past 14 years that we’ve been working with charity clients in producing fundraising, educational and legacy videos, we’ve found it useful to outline the process that we go through to producing a film. Clear communication and good early planning are vital in ensuring that the best possible footage is obtained and that the final film fulfils the charity’s brief – delivering a strong and engaging message and a clear ask.

Inclusion of Elders into Society

Last Sunday I had the opportunity to assist Phil in filming for Contact The Elderly. Contact The Elderly is a charity that focuses on tackling loneliness and social isolation among older people. They organise Sunday afternoon tea parties for people aged 75 and over who live alone with little or no support from family or friends. The filming consisted creating an overview of the Sunday tea parties and looking at why the event is so important for the guests, as well as for the volunteers.
