Short videos promote CHASE charity event

We thoroughly enjoyed speaking at the charity conference CHASE 2016 this year.  We met many interesting charities at our two sessions (a Video Training Workshop and a case study with All We Can charity) and we were also asked to produce a video to promote the charity conference and exhibition.  As the video target audience was twofold (promoting the conference seminars to charity delegates and attracting corporate sponsors and suppliers for the exhibition

Mobile Video Drives Regular Giving for Muscular Dystrophy UK

A strong emotional connection underpins most of our fundraising videos; emotional storytelling is an effective way to engage viewers, help them connect with the charity’s work and drive support. Our latest charity video was produced for Muscular Dystrophy, the UK charity working to beat muscle wasting conditions and an emotional ask is at the heart of the video.

CharityComms Latest Video Production Partner

Here at Purple Flame Media we’ve just become an approved corporate partner of CharityComms. This membership network for UK charity communicators does so much good work to encourage and share best practice and we're keen to contribute and learn from the partnership.

Empowering Women

It’s a worrying fact that progress towards gender equality has slowed in many places around the world.  The World Economic Forum predicted in 2014 that it would take until 2095 to achieve global gender parity. Then, in 2015, they estimated that a slowdown in the pace of progress meant the gender gap wouldn't close entirely until 2133.

Charity video produced on a mobile – IOF competition winners

I was glad of a warm reception as I arrived at the entrance to St Kentigern’s Hospice; outside the ice was crunching under foot and a brisk wind blowing. I’d travelled up to work alongside the fundraising department at the hospice – they’d won our December IOF competition with a strongly worded, straight-to- the-point entry that clearly outlined a case-study that they want to film, to highlight the work of the hospice.

Health and Safety gone serious...

Health and Safety gone serious…

Over the past 16 years, we’ve worked many times with Habitat for Humanity – producing charity films for them both internationally and with their UK-based teams. Working to overcome housing poverty, in the UK they partner with corporate organisations, often bringing volunteers onto construction sites to help with the building process.

Challenging attitudes & preconceptions surrounding domestic abuse

Our latest video was produced for the DASH charity (Domestic Abuse Stops Here) to raise awareness about the emotional impact and scale of domestic abuse and to open people’s eyes to the hidden nature of abuse.

Beneficiary Stories Show How Charity Serves the Need

Filming impact stories effectively communicates the difference a charity makes; hearing beneficiary stories establishes an emotional connection and shows a real tangible difference. Our latest charity video, produced for Serve who support older people in Northampton, is led by their beneficiaries.  Interviews with beneficiaries who use a variety of Serve’s services, give an insight into their lives, the issues they face and how they benefit from the charity’s work.
